Security Response Analyst – Contract

We’re hiring a Security Incident Response Analyst for a 6 month daily rate contract starting in January 2026.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone with extensive Incident Response experience to join a global organisation on a contract basis, building on your existing skillset and working with an experienced team.

The role:

• Work in the Cyber Defence Centre to spot, analyse and respond to security threats.
• Handle investigations of security incidents: examine logs, determine root causes, and coordinate containment and recovery.
• Help improve our clients incident response methods, including suggesting automation where useful.
• Mentor junior team members and share your knowledge.
• Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends and help to adopt improved tools and practices.

Who You Are

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in SOC / incident response / cybersecurity roles.
• Comfortable working across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Skilled in analysing logs, identifying vulnerabilities or threats, and conducting thorough incident investigations.
• Able to document findings clearly, and turn them into actionable remediation plans.
• Experienced in enterprise-level IT or security environments.
• A knowledge of scripting/ programming would be a plus.
